In recent years, the sovereign wealth funds of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries have grown extraordinarily. The events of the “Arab Spring” and the current transition processes suggest new perspectives for investment in economic development projects, in sectors such as transport and energy infrastructure, urbanization, water management, social housing and tourism development. industrial. In this context, the experience and international competitiveness acquired by Spanish companies can be combined with a triangular strategy of expansion into Arab economies at the hands of Arab capitalist partners, especially the Gulf, thus addressing scarcity of European credit, favoring the growth and internationalization of these companies and strengthening Spanish-Arab cooperation.
This event has the collaboration of PIMEC, ACME and Foment del Treball.
